A full-body light therapy mat built for your dog or cat, not adapted from a human panel. The Hooga Red Light Therapy Mat (Model HG-BE980) is soft, flexible, and lays flat on the floor, in a crate, or on a pet bed — giving your pet a familiar surface to rest on during a session.

Across its 40.2″ × 24.0″ surface, 980 dual-chip LEDs deliver 660 nm red light and 850 nm near-infrared light in the same LED position, so both wavelengths are distributed evenly across the mat rather than alternating position to position.

Three Light Modes, Five Brightness Levels, Four Timers

The inline controller gives you real control over how a session runs:

• Modes: RED+NIR together, RED only, or NIR only. Near-infrared light is nearly invisible to the eye, so the mat looks dim in NIR mode even though it is working normally.
• Brightness: 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, or 100%.
• Timer: 10, 15, 20, or 25 minutes with automatic shutoff.
• Pulse: continuous, or 10 Hz / 40 Hz pulsed output.

At startup the mat defaults to RED+NIR, 100% brightness, 15 minutes, pulse off. Every setting is one button press away on the controller.

Built for Pets, Not Repurposed From a Panel

There is no rigid frame to position, no complicated setup, and no battery to charge. The mat runs on the supplied AC power adapter (input 100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz; output 32 V DC, 96 W) and includes built-in over-temperature protection. It lays flat, folds loosely for storage, and stays quiet during sessions so your pet can settle in.

How to Introduce the Mat

1. Place the mat flat on a dry, stable indoor surface with the LEDs facing up. Avoid soft, springy surfaces that let the mat bend.
2. Start at 20% brightness for 10 minutes while your pet becomes familiar with the mat. Stay with your pet the whole session.
3. If your pet is relaxed and comfortable, increase brightness or session time gradually.
4. For general wellness, start with three to five sessions per week and use no more than once daily unless your veterinarian directs otherwise.
