A pragmatic, no-fluff look at how Hooga panels stack up against the three brands most shoppers ask about.

Choosing a red light therapy panel means comparing specific models, not declaring one brand the winner at everything. Start with treatment-area coverage, controls, mounting options, documented light output, total price and the policies that apply to the product you are considering. Hooga sells the products discussed here, so this is a manufacturer's perspective, not an independent ranking.

Hooga vs Joovv

Compare: controls, mounting, coverage and the total cost of your setup.

Read the model-specific comparison, then verify current specifications, included accessories and prices on each manufacturer's product page. A different control system or mounting arrangement may matter more to your routine than a headline output number.

Hooga vs MitoRedLight

Compare: the exact panel, wavelengths, measurement details and included accessories.

Check which specifications apply to the model you are buying. Ask what a certification or registration covers: the finished device, a component or a manufacturing facility. Do not treat establishment registration as proof of finished-device FDA approval or clearance.

Hooga vs PlatinumLED

Compare: wavelength options, controls, device certifications, coverage and warranty.

Review the documentation for the particular models, rather than choosing on wavelength count alone. Consider which features you will use and the full price including any stand or mounting accessories you need.

What to compare before you buy

  • Coverage and placement: Choose a panel size and mounting setup that fit your treatment area, space and routine.
  • Wavelength specifications: Check the actual wavelengths for the model, and distinguish research on a wavelength from proof of outcomes with a particular device.
  • Light-output measurements: Compare irradiance only with the measurement distance, method and area clearly stated. Irradiance is light power per unit area, not the same thing as treatment dose or proof of better results.
  • Controls and comfort: Consider brightness adjustment, timers, noise and any other features that affect day-to-day use. Check model-specific documentation for EMF or flicker claims.
  • Warranty and returns: Hooga's standard new-panel warranty is three years from purchase. The standard return window is 60 days from delivery; U.S. return-label costs are deducted from the refund. Check Warranty Information and Returns & Refunds for product-specific terms and exceptions.
